Talking Rocks Caverns, just outside Branson, Missouri, is a family-friendly roadside attraction. Enter the cave through the gift shop and take a tour of the underground wonders. A member of the Missouri Cave Association, Talking Rocks Cavern is a fine example of one of Missouri’s strange and wonderful cave systems.
Pass around tight curves and navigate the caves path through the hour-long cave tour, led by an informative guide. Note, that if it has been raining, you’ll notice in the cave! After a rainfall, the cave is noticeably damper and there can be water in the cave.
The rock and gift shop sells a wide variety of souvenirs and memorabilia, including gems, hats, t-shirts, educational books and toys. It’s also one of the best rock shops in the Branson area, boasting an array of fossils, geodes, museum-grade pieces, as well as home goods made of beautiful rocks.
Talking Rocks Cavern is a family-friendly activity in Branson, which is suitable for visitors of all ages. There are several sets of stairs and narrow passages, so it is unfortunately not an accessible attraction.
To visit the caverns, simply take Highway 76 ten miles west to Branson West past Silver Dollar City and then make a left when you see the sign for Talking Rocks Cavern.
